Hi Motte, welcome to the forum.

Regarding "coming out": it may be better to underplay it rather than making a dramatic announcement.  The occasional indication that you don't really care much for religion might meet with less resistance than announcing atheism with a capital A.

Thanx for all the advice guys, appreciated ! I am sorry for the people whose families have written them off, at least you stood up for what you (non?)-believed in. Respect. You have backbone. For me I don't mind losing ignorant aunts and uncles, but I definitely want to see my cousins grow up. Catch 22. Choices ! Have a great day everyone !!

I'm just wondering why you feel your in a closet? Do they make you do
religious things that you don't want to?
